Hotel Photography encompasses room photography, food, staff, and exteriors, and I try to capture the essence and atmosphere of the hotel. It is important to photograph the rooms so that they give potential clients a feel for the place, but it’s also important to convey the atmosphere, perhaps with details and close-ups. Social media is key to a hotel’s marketing, and I spend time photographing with Instagram in mind. I am quick and careful, and realise the importance of flexibility when photographing a busy hotel!
